2010 Hyosung GT650R EFI wallpapers

2010 Hyosung GT650R EFI
The GT650 is possibly the world's most flexible street bike. Available in three versions, it is powerful, stylish, flexible and affordable. Hyosung's DOHC 8 valve 650cc V-Twin engines are rapidly gaining respect in the motorcycling world, with the new updated fuel-injected model pushing out a healthy 82bhp comapred to Suzuki's SV650 at 70bhp.

Adjustable footrests compliment the versatile chassis, tailor the ergonomics to suit your body and height. Dual lateral oval bar frame is designed to reduce weight and allow the engine to be carried lower to provide cornering agility comparable to European sports bikes.

Upside down forks compliment the chassis to give nimble handling and safer road holding. Twin front discs and dual twin piston fully floating brake calipers provide incredible stopping power. Upside down forks have compression and rebound adjustment, and the rear shock is charged for suspension sophistication not normally available in this price range.

LCD instuments with fuel and temp gauges, clock and dual trip meter. A large 17 litre fuel tank ensures long touring range.

Split left/right fairing design allows cheaper repairs in the event of damage.

The GT650R also has convenience features such as pillion grab rail and heavy duty tie down hooks for all your gear for those long trips. The rider's seat is firm in design to provide good support and reduce fatigue. The comet series all incorporate key lock storage compartment under the pillion seat; items such as wet weather gear, maps, lunch etc can be stored here, as well as locking helmet security (depending on helmet design).

All GT650 variants share the following specifications:
17 litre fuel tank
120/60x17 Front Tyre
160/60x17 Rear Tyre
Twin 300mm disc front brakes
Disc rear brake
6 Speed gearbox
1435mm wheelbase
Electric starter
Double Overhead Cam Water cooled 650cc V-Twin engine
Adjustable large diameter 41mm 'upside-down' front forks.

2 Years parts and labour warranty with free 12 months breakdown cover.

Cuttings from road test by Neil Johnston from One Wheel Drive November 2005

The gearbox’s action is light, velvety and precise. Coming into the sweeper I gear clutch-less'ly upwards, tall ratios give the GT650 a long legged feel and make good use of the engine’s torque. This also leaves the GT feeling less rev-happy than the SV 650, resulting in a smoother feel. I note the soft rev-limiter nudging me gently to shift at 11,000 RPM. Smooth and flexible seem the keywords of the day for the Hyosung engine, with it offering it’s best in the 5000-8000RPM range.

Though the test is short, this perch is preferable to the arse-aching cruelty of the ’05 SV 650 Naked.
Despite the aspirations of being “a beginners bike”, the GT650 is a hugely satisfying ride.
The final word on the Hyosung GT650 is not all the talk of a cheaper Suzuki, the two-year warranty or versatile engine… it’s not a word at all really… it is the post ride grin I’m wearing.

All our new bike prices are inclusive of V.A.T, pre-delivery inspection costs (petrol, oil, number plate, tax disc holder and L-plates if required). DVLA first registration fee and road tax are not included and will be charged at the prevailing rate. All bikes are fully assembled, prepared and registered for road use (if applicable)

Established in South Korea in 1978, Hyosung have benefited from a technical tie-in with Suzuki since 1979. Manufacturing high quality motorcycles and components to ISO 9001 quality standards.
